Traffic Safety Tips

  • Don’t drink and drive. Use a designated driver if you are away from home and drinking.
  • Wear your seat belt. A properly worn seat belt will lessen the severity of injury if you are involved in a collision.
  • Obey speed limits. Almost half of the injury collisions in Citrus Heights occur as the result of one or both drivers driving at an unsafe speed.
  • Leave early, don’t be rushed. Drivers who are rushed or running late may drive too fast.
  • Who has the Right of Way? Find out.
  • Does your child need a Booster Seat? Find out.
