Citrus Heights' Master Fee Schedule with Proposed Amendments (PDF) is a compilation of the fees charged for services and development with the City of Citrus Heights. All fees are reviewed from time to time in order to ensure that the fees charged do not exceed the estimated costs required to produce the services.
In April 2019, the City contracted with Matrix Consulting Group to conduct a comprehensive user fee analysis with the goal of identifying the actual cost of providing fee-related City services and to recommend recovery levels for each fee. On December 12, 2019, the City Council approved a Master Fee Schedule effective January 1, 2020. The user fees in the Master Fee Schedule may be updated annually on January 1, based upon the US Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index, all items, San Francisco Area as of October of the previous year, with adjustments, as recommended by the City Manager, rounded to the nearest whole dollar. The Building Division Permit Fees will be increased by an additional five percent per year effective January 1, 2021; January 1, 2022 and January 1, 2023; these increases will be in addition to any applicable inflationary adjustments.
