The City of Citrus Heights understands that many of our local businesses have faced unforeseen difficulties brought on by COVID-19 and the related health orders. We have created this page in an effort to streamline the most current information available.

Beginning June 15, California has fully reopened the economy, and State has moved beyond the "Blueprint for a Safer Economy" color tiered system for restrictions on certain business sectors.  As of June 15, 2021, all sectors listed in the previous Blueprint Activities and Business Tiers Chart may return to usual operations (with the limited exceptions Mega Events) based on the following general public health recommendations:

Restrictions Applying to Indoor & Outdoor Settings
Vaccine Verification / Negative Testing

Required for Indoor mega events

Recommended for Outdoor mega events

Capacity LimitationsNo restrictions
Physical Distancing No restrictions for attendees, customers and guests
MaskingFollow current CDPH Guidance for Face Coverings
TravelersFollow CDC recommendations and CDPH Travel Advisory

Please note that employers are subject to the Cal/OSHA COVID-19 Prevention Emergency Temporary Standards (ETS), if applicable to them. Please visit the California Department of Public Health's website for more information and reference the County's Environmental Management information on what going "beyond the blueprint" means for different sectors.
