Citrus Heights offers a variety of affordable housing options. Listed below are apartment complexes, publicly owned and privately owned, located in the City of Citrus Heights.

Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA) administers the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program. As part of the HCV program, the tenant pays approximately 30 percent of their income towards rent and the remainder is paid by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds directly to the landlord.
