Affordable First-Time Homebuyer Opportunity in Citrus Heights!

The City of Citrus Heights has partnered with Habitat for Humanity Greater Sacramento, a well-known non-profit housing builder, to develop 26 new homes over the next three years on Sayonara Drive.  These homes will provide stable housing to nearly 120 low-income households, including children.

Habitat for Humanity is excited to announce that the application period will begin on April 1 for the new development on Sayonara Drive. Located in the northern part of Citrus Heights, Sayonara Drive is near the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and Greenback Lane within the Sacramento metropolitan area. 

Applications will be available starting April 1, 2025, and close on May 23, 2025. This application process is for Phase 1, which includes eight homes scheduled to begin construction in June/July 2025.
