Antelope Crossing

The Antelope Crossing Business Association was formed in 2009 in an effort to breathe new life into the commercial and retail centers at Interstate 80 and Antelope Road. Antelope Crossing consists of the two retail and commercial centers at Antelope Road and Interstate 80. Antelope Road is the only freeway exit directly into the City of Citrus Heights making it an ideal location due to both freeway visibility and easy access for commuters.

The business association realized many successes since its formation including:

  • The completion of the Antelope Crossing Transformation Project is an in depth long term plan for the Business District that was funded by a $100,000 grant from the Sacramento Region Air Quality and Infill Streamlining Program.
  • Annual Antelope Crossing Spooktacular – a family-friendly community event including arts, vendor/business, information, and entertainment. A crowd favorite of the Spooktacular is our Children's Costume Contest – participation more than doubled in 2013, with 96 Participants. Entertainment, almost 100 vendors and numerous child friendly free or low cost activities are highlights of the event.
  • Since formation – Antelope Crossing was pleased to have attracted close to15 new businesses to the district including (not all inclusive) :
